Position Overview As an Estimator, you will play a key role in our power delivery construction projects by preparing accurate estimates and bids, thoroughly reviewing plans and specifications, and analyzing project costs. We are looking for a candidate with an understanding of the transmission line and substation construction industry, expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, and proficiency with cost estimating software. You will be responsible for creating detailed cost estimates that assist management in competitive bidding and pricing reputed company.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities Generate bid hour and bid sheets for substation and transmission line projects. reputed company out to suppliers to gather and confirm pricing information. Prepare detailed take-offs and staking sheets for accurate project estimation. Review bid documents to ensure thorough understanding and accuracy. reputed company site visits as needed to collect relevant information and assess project requirements. Collect and analyze historical cost data to enhance estimates for ongoing and future projects. reputed company estimates to support management in project planning, organization, and scheduling. Interpret blueprints and other documentation to reputed company accurate time, cost, material, and labor estimates.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Experience Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or reputed company field. 2+ years of experience in utility construction estimating - Transmission line or Substation Experience with EPC Estimating Strong background in reputed company Office applications as well as construction estimating software. B2W experience preferred but not required. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Sound organizational skills with attention to detail. Apply To This Job
