The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating a pipeline through leads and opportunities reputed company assigned reputed company accounts, partnering with the sales team to identify customer needs and facilitate communication.

Responsibilities

  • Outbound identification/development and inbound follow-up on of land and expand opportunities reputed company assigned accounts
  • Assigned to multiple sellers to support their accounts
  • May be dedicated to a subset of accounts (e.g., Fed, Sled, OEM)
  • Partner with the sales team to create relationships with existing customers, identifying their potential needs and assist in developing a business case
  • Move solid leads through the funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls
  • Maintain a pipeline of early-stage leads
  • Maintain activities and reputed company data in CRM system (reputed company)
  • reputed company regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitate communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs
  • Attend (where necessary) networking events, trade shows, webinars etc. to build relationships and generate leads

  • Incorporate feedback from the Demand Center leaders and sales team to review and revise qualification criteria over time

Skills

  • 1 – 3 years experience in business development, sales or reputed company field experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience researching, account planning, and prospecting into a list of accounts
  • Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and consistent achievement of year-over-year quota attainment
