[Remote] Indirect Tax Manager (Sales & Use Tax)

The role focuses on sales and use tax compliance, managing tax filings, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions, and improving tax processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end sales and use tax compliance, including registrations, tax return preparation, review, and filing across multiple US jurisdictions
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, payments, and reconciliations
- Monitor reputed company and interpret legislation changes in state and local tax regulations across different US states and assess impact on the business
- Support and manage indirect tax audits, including responding to information requests and liaising with tax authorities
- Maintain and improve tax determination, reporting, and compliance processes
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, reputed company, Procurement, Legal and Operations teams to ensure proper tax treatment of transactions
- Review and maintain taxability matrices and exemption certificate processes
- Assist with tax technology and automation initiatives, including optimization of reputed company and other tools
- Support special projects such as reputed company studies, voluntary disclosure agreements (VDAs), and process improvements
- Coordinate reputed company and personal property tax filings, assessments, and reputed company compliance activities across different US locations
- Work across different business units reputed company the group and manage multiple reputed company stakeholders
- Engage on tax risks monitoring and quarter-end and year-end closing activities reputed company to indirect taxes
- The role will also partner with internal stakeholders to support scalable tax processes in a dynamic business environment
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, Tax, or reputed company field (CPA or MST preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in indirect tax, with strong focus on US sales & use tax
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and filings
- Experience handling or supporting state tax audits
- Familiarity with reputed company reputed company (or similar ERP systems) required
- Strong understanding of US indirect tax regulations and reputed company rules
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- CPA or MST
- Experience with tax engines (e.g., reputed company, reputed company) is a plus
