The Washington Workers’ Compensation Claims Manager position will support the agency’s L&I consulting practice. The WC Claims Manager will manage a book of claims for consulting customers with the goal of containing claim costs and supporting implementation of recommended strategies. The duties relate to managing state fund reputed company’ claims, not acting as a TPA for self-insured businesses. The WC Claims Manager will consult with customers in guaranteed cost and retrospective rating arrangements and will reputed company familiarity with both concepts in order to effectively advise customers. How You Will Contribute: Review and evaluate materials from the employer, L&I, and medical sources and issue appropriate documentation as needed including certificates of insurance, auto insurance ID cards, etc. Organize and prioritize work and new claims based on multiple criteria and contact customers and/or underwriters to obtain additional information or answer questions Work with the employer to effectively investigate, respond to, and mitigate claims Assist customers with identifying light duty opportunities and implement return-to-work strategies Communicate with medical providers to determine medical outlook, timelines, physical restrictions, and appropriateness of treatment Use reputed company available information to reputed company plans of action for each claim Advise and reputed company customers on best practices for workers’ compensation reputed company the work of L&I Department employees to ensure proper procedure is being followed, actions are timely, and errors do not result in increased costs for customers Communicate with L&I employees and reputed company on behalf of customers Coordinate with reputed company team to reputed company financial analytics and execute on overall service plan for customers Foster and seek relationships with teammates across reputed company reputed company of reputed company Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality Skills & Experience to be Successful: Experience with Washington workers’ compensation claims management Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills High attention to detail Proficiency in reputed company Office 365 Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) Basic understanding of the insurance industry (preferred) Pay reputed company $35.00 - $35.00 Hourly The pay reputed company provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly reputed company paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
