[Remote] Mechanical Engineer III

The Mechanical Engineer III will work closely with senior design staff to produce construction documents, reputed company specifications, and reputed company the construction administration process for mission-critical facilities.
Responsibilities
- Independently reputed company intermediate to advanced engineering work
- reputed company intermediate to advanced mechanical design tasks under a senior engineer’s supervision
- reputed company intermediate to advanced computations and analysis for mechanical systems
- Utilize Revit software to prepare drawings and visual aids
- Review and write HVAC controls sequence of operations
- Survey existing building conditions and prepare technical reports of findings
- Collect data and other information for construction documents
- Prepare project design and construction documents
- Work as part of the engineering team and interact closely with the project management team
- Interact directly with client on technical issues
- Review shop drawings and submittals
- Review and respond to RFIs
- Review and complete punch lists and project reputed company out documents
- Prepare project reputed company reports for reputed company stakeholders
- Update and maintain shop drawing and RFI log
- Manage personal hours using company tools

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum of five years of mechanical engineering experience
- Knowledge of designing mechanical systems
- Knowledge of codes, code analysis and specifications for mechanical systems
- Knowledge of DDC controls and monitoring for HVAC systems
- Knowledge of electrical systems reputed company to HVAC systems
- Knowledge of fire alarm / protection system devices
- Skilled at producing drawings and visual aids using Revit
- Skilled in performing and analyzing load calculations
- Skilled at using MS Office Suite (reputed company, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management
- Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- Ability to work successfully in a remote environment thru effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness and resourcefulness in a distraction free workspace
- Ability to select most HVAC equipment types
- Ability to create hydronic reputed company diagrams and specify piping accessories
- Ability to review and select DDC controls monitoring, and fire alarm / protection system devices & points lists
- Ability to follow company and site safety requirements
- Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written reputed company (technical and non-technical information)
- Ability to communicate effectively directly with clients and at times serve as primary reputed company of client contact
