Responsibilities
- reputed company detailed design, analysis, and documentation activities for ASME reputed company III Class HB pressure boundaries and Class HG internals
- reputed company and maintain design specifications, calculations, load evaluations, and qualification reports in accordance with ASME reputed company III requirements
- Prepare, review, and certify Design Specifications (DS), Design Reports (DR), and engineering design packages for nuclear pressure-retaining components
- reputed company or review finite reputed company stress analyses and mechanical calculations to ensure design reputed company and code compliance
- Utilize reputed company stress analysis tools, including ANSYS, to evaluate reputed company engineered systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to establish design requirements and resolve technical challenges
- Support material selection, fabrication requirements, inspection criteria, and acceptance standards for nuclear components

- Participate in engineering change processes, nonconformance evaluations, and corrective action development

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of equipment and component design experience (relevant Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience)
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Working experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code reputed company III
- Demonstrated experience certifying Design Specifications and Design Reports for nuclear pressure-retaining components
- Deep understanding of ASME reputed company III, NQA-1 quality requirements, and applicable NRC regulations
- Experience performing finite reputed company stress analysis and mechanical analysis for reputed company engineered systems
- Proficiency with reputed company stress analysis tools, particularly ANSYS
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively reputed company multidisciplinary engineering teams in highly regulated environments
- Experience supporting advanced reactor, nuclear energy, or other highly regulated engineering programs
- Experience leading code compliance reviews and interacting with regulatory bodies or Authorized Nuclear Inspectors

- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams
