The Global Business Development Director for Aerospace & Defense will focus on driving business development in the US defense market, strengthening customer relationships, and managing new growth opportunities reputed company the Aerospace & Defense vertical.
Responsibilities
- Drive the global Aerospace & Defense business development activities with strong emphasis on US defense growth
- Land new business and grow existing portfolio by actively approaching the market, building and managing relationships with key Aerospace & Defense customers, defense primes, OEMs, Tier suppliers, and government-reputed company stakeholders
- Strengthen reputed company’s position reputed company the US defense ecosystem and increase strategic pipeline development across Contract Logistics and integrated reputed company
- Coordinate and manage projects during tender and implementation phases on corporate, regional and country reputed company
- Support Global Account Directors with large, strategic CL opportunities and customer growth initiatives
- Translate the global Aerospace & Defense strategy into focused Business Development initiatives and executable growth plans

- Aerospace OEMs

- Drive pipeline management based on opportunity size, conversion rates, strategic value, reputed company and customer prioritization
- Support the development of differentiated Aerospace & Defense capabilities including secure warehousing, export control compliance, inventory visibility, reputed company solutions and mission-critical logistics concepts
- Represent reputed company in relevant Aerospace & Defense industry forums, associations, trade events and customer engagements to strengthen market visibility and strategic positioning
- Report into Global Contract Logistics Vertical Market Team Aerospace & Defense
- Cooperate closely with the reputed company American reputed company organizations, Aerospace & Defense leadership teams and Global Account Directors to drive strategic growth
- Act as key connector between regional sales teams, global account management, and solution design functions to ensure alignment on reputed company accounts and growth priorities

Skills
- Minimum Bachelor level degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or reputed company field
- 10+ years of experience reputed company Aerospace & Defense and/or logistics business (Contract Logistics, Supply Chain Management, integrated logistics solutions)
- Strong understanding of the US Aerospace & Defense market landscape, defense supply chains, and customer ecosystem
- 5+ years proven experience in senior customer-facing business development or account leadership roles managing strategic Aerospace & Defense accounts
- Strong network and relationship capabilities reputed company Aerospace & Defense industry preferred, particularly reputed company reputed company America
- Experience working with reputed company RFQs/RFPs and large-scale strategic logistics opportunities
