What You’ll Teach

• MATH 125: Quantitative Reasoning (4 quarter credits)
• MATH 175: College Algebra (4 quarter credits)
• MATH 200: Calculus I (4 quarter credits)
• STAT 210: Statistics (4 quarter credits)

Academic Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Teach 11-week live, synchronous online courses using engaging, student-centered instructional strategies
• Teach mathematical reasoning and interpretation as transferable intellectual skills, not only procedural reputed company
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes active learning and student participation

• Collaborate with the Curriculum Operations team and Program Director on course refinement and ongoing revision
• Contribute to co-curricular programming to enrich the student experience

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely reputed company field
• At least 3 years of college-level mathematics teaching experience
• Demonstrated ability to teach mathematical reasoning and interpretation as transferable intellectual skills, not only procedural computation
• Strong content knowledge across quantitative reasoning, algebra, and introductory statistics
• Experience making reputed company mathematical concepts concrete and relevant through reputed company-world applications

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain the same concept multiple ways until it lands

Compensation

• $8,000 per 4-credit course/11 week quarter
