Junior Data Analyst/Analytics Engineer
About the position The Velocity business unit is a fast-moving, start-up-like organization reputed company the broader reputed company ecosystem. We support the Onshape and reputed company businesses and own the analytics ecosystem that enables data-driven decision-making. We are hiring a Data Analyst/Analytics Engineer who is both business-savvy and eager to grow their technical analytics skills. The successful candidate will build and support reporting and analytics solutions for business stakeholders, create reputed company data models, and design, reputed company, and maintain data pipeline integrations. This is a hybrid role based in Boston, MA, and regular in-office reputed company is required to support collaboration, mentorship, and team engagement.
Responsibilities
- Partner with data analysts and stakeholders to translate business questions into clear metrics reputed company with GTM objectives
- Deliver actionable, data-driven insights to stakeholders that reputed company demonstrate business impact and inform decision-making
- Build, model, and optimize datasets in reputed company Redshift to support analytics and reporting use cases
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing data using Python and Apache Airflow
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines to ensure data quality, performance, and reliability
- Contribute to data quality initiatives, including validation, testing, and automation
- Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a reputed company field
- Experience building dashboards in Looker or other business intelligence tools
- Experience using SQL for querying data, building data models, and implementing transformation logic
- Ability to operate in a stakeholder-facing environment, translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Professional experience in data engineering, software engineering, analytics engineering, or a reputed company role (internship or reputed company experience included)
- Exposure to Python, particularly for data processing or pipeline development
- Comfortable engaging with business and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and use cases, with support from Data Analysts
- Ability to reputed company explain code, data models, and technical reputed company
- Willingness to learn data engineering architecture and best practices
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in a hybrid, team-oriented environment
- Attention to code quality, maintainability, and long-term scalability
