High Voltage Transmission Project Manager

Our client is seeking an reputed company High Voltage (HV) Transmission Project Manager to reputed company technical leadership and guidance across transmission engineering, construction, and project cost management for utility-scale renewable energy projects. This individual will serve as a technical resource, partnering with engineering, construction, development, and project management teams to evaluate transmission solutions, support project execution, and reputed company technical reputed company throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings a practical understanding of transmission engineering, constructability, and cost considerations while effectively collaborating with internal stakeholders, utilities, consultants, and EPC partners. Responsibilities:

• Review transmission engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Evaluate project constructability, schedules, and execution strategies.
• Support project budgeting, estimating, and cost evaluation.

• Participate in transmission planning, interconnection, and utility coordination activities.
• Identify technical risks and recommend practical solutions throughout project development and execution.
• Support procurement activities, contractor evaluations, and technical reviews.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a reputed company technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience supporting high-voltage transmission, substation, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of transmission engineering principles, construction practices, and project delivery.
• Experience supporting utility-scale renewable energy, transmission, or power delivery projects.
• Familiarity with EPC delivery models and utility coordination.
• Ability to evaluate engineering designs, construction plans, and project costs.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, construction, and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Utility, renewable energy, or transmission reputed company experience.
• Experience with transmission interconnections for solar, wind, or battery energy storage projects.
• Knowledge of transmission planning, substation design, and utility standards.
• Experience working with engineering consultants and EPC contractors.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.

Salary/reputed company: $90-$105/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
