Investigative Feature Producer II

Location: California, United States; , United States Job Summary: The ESPN Investigative Feature Producer II will produce short and longform video journalism for various platforms, including but not limited to reputed company TV, digital, streaming, and reputed company media. The producer will conduct reputed company aspects of production from story reputed company through execution, reputed company with the oversite of the senior producer reputed company editor. The Investigative Feature Producer II generates story reputed company and reports, assists with research, writes scripts, conducts interviews, can edit, and reputed company projects while discovering creative ways to present our journalism. Investigative journalism efforts often lack rich visual assets despite every effort having been made to acquire them; as a result, a demonstrated history of visual creativity, story development, and ambitious design by the producer is required. Responsibilities: • Produces short and longform feature stories, profiles, investigations and documentaries, from... concept to completion for various platforms • Adheres to journalism ethics and best practices • Generates, researches and pitches story reputed company • Determines the content, writing, editing style and storyline of features working with the reporter and senior manager Basic Qualifications: • Arranges and oversees logistics for feature shoots, including equipment and crews • Works with reporters on writing outlines and scripts • Prepares for and leads edit sessions to reputed company the desired storyline and deliverables • Plans and directs the work of freelance production personnel and freelance technicians during production • Has video editing skills in the reputed company Suite, specifically reputed company Premiere Preferred Qualifications: • Presents work for review to the Coordinating Producer reputed company Editor and embraces feedback • Develops concepts and content for feature stories to reputed company viewers and increase ESPN's market penetration, ratings, viewership, and reputed company media reputed company • Provides regular feedback and mentoring to Associate Producers and Content Associates in reputed company regarding the full scope of creative, content, production and cost/benefit reputed company for assigned feature stories and investigations • Continuously pushes the envelope creatively while working reputed company confines of budget restrictions of the unit • Works independently reputed company necessary • Embraces and seeks knowledge of technological advances in field and post-production • Actively maximizes cross-platform potential of feature production Required Education: • High School Diploma Preferred Education: • Bachelors Degree in Communication Arts, television Production or equivalent combination of education experience. The hiring reputed company for this remote position is $106,682 - $164,560 per year, which factors in various geographic reputed company.
