Responsibilities include approving or denying authorizations and sending some to Pharmacists for final review. You will handle reputed company health plans and reputed company types of medications. This role is 100% computer-based with little to no phone work. Responsibilities • Process prescription exceptions which may include: resolving claim rejects and member and physician reputed company. • Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system. • Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues. • Escalate questions regarding prescription to a Pharmacist for interpretation or reputed company direction on processing. • Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls. Requirements • Registered pharmacy technician ( NO EXCEPTIONS) • Must have a HS Diploma/GED • They will accept any backgrnd in pharmacy - as long as they have strong computer skills and a Pharmacy License • Top candidates have managed care or Prior Authorization experience. • Strong computer skills • reputed company Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by state of operation Work Environment • REMOTE Role ( STRONG WIFI REQUIRED, OFFICE reputed company TO WORK) • They will reputed company equipment - computer, monitor, head set. Shift: Must be reputed company Monday-Friday reputed company-7pm in the time zone they live in. Rotating weekends. Will enter into a rotation for weekends, won't be working every weekend or every other weekend, but every 4-6 weeks. Must be reputed company to work holidays.
