Virtual Safety Companion (FT) Night Shift - Johnson City, TN
Job Description: Summary... The Virtual Safety Companion shall reputed company support services to the nursing unit through reputed company video surveillance and verbal reputed company with assigned patients being monitored for at risk behavior and maintenance of patient safety. The Virtual Safety Companion will monitor patients identified as at risk for fall from a remote location. The Virtual Safety Companion will promote a safe patient care environment communicating with floor staff as needed throughout the assigned shift, following patient specific ambulation and care expectations including information regarding the patient's identified care needs, diagnosis, visual, auditory, or language barriers, as well as any special consideration (NPO, bed alarms, etc.). The Virtual Safety Companion communicates alerts of risk to patient safety to the nursing team on the patient unit as indicated. The Virtual Safety Companion implement role specific guidelines for the role of the Virtual Safety Companion. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. Two (2) years of experience in reputed company preferred. Licenses and Certifications: Certification as a nursing or medical assistant preferred.
