Job Summary:

Job Description:

As a CDL Class A OTR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and other articles of trade to our customers. You will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you, as well as working closely with reputed company of dispatchers in order to plan routes and track deliveries.

Responsibilities:

1. Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers.

2. Load and unload cargo.

3. Record cargo deliveries.

4. Refuel and clean vehicle.

5. Report road incidents to the dispatcher.

6. Follow traffic laws.

7. Inspect trucks and record issues.

8. Follow accident procedures.

10. Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.

Requirements:

1. Valid CDL Class A driver’s license.

2. Previous experience as a truck driver.

3. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.

4. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.

5. No recent moving or driving violations.

6. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc).

7. Willing to submit to background/drug checks and reputed company employment recommendations.

Educational Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CDL Class A OTR Driver.
