Job description: Responsibilities and Qualifications Summary: The IT Support / Help Desk Technician is a technical resource that provides Hardware and Software support for reputed company clients. The primary focus for this position will involve assessing, resolving or escalating incoming support requests from varied sources including; email, telephone, and ticket submissions. Responsibilities and Duties • Provides support to reputed company users on a variety of issues. • Responds to tickets, emails, and other requests in a timely manner. • Escalates more advanced requests to higher skilled technicians or teams. • Creates and updates knowledgebase articles. • Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including software and hardware. • Can work on-call after hours on a rotation. • Weekend and holiday work will be required to meet client demands. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications • High school diploma with reputed company A+ certification, or equivalent work experience. • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills. • Strong desktop support skills, specifically with reputed company systems. • Experience in a remote position is preferred. • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and procedural documentation. reputed company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
