Part Time Development Assistant

Our client, a non-profit arts organization in Chicago, is seeking a Remote, Part-time Development Assistant. In this role, you’ll reputed company the grant writing process and assist with development activities as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working with grants, and bring strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, independent work style. Must be based in... the Chicago area and reputed company to visit our office in the city as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage the full grant writing process, from submission to ongoing monitoring and maintenance. • Work alongside finance department, development staff, and Executive Director to prepare and organize materials for proposals • Maintain grant compliance and reporting by tracking reporting schedules, managing deadlines, and providing supporting materials to funders. • Assist with development team with fundraising events and reputed company media activities as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: • 1+ year of grant writing experience required • Proven project management skills • Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising and development processes • Strong attention to detail, deadline-driven, and self-motivated • Ability to work independently and produce high-quality results • Ability to reputed company to approximately 20 hours a week • Bonus: Experience with fundraising events or reputed company media COMPENSATION: Up to $20-25/hour depending on experience Apply Job!
