Senior Costume Buyers reputed company and procure raw materials, supplies, and finished goods that support the Cast in the reputed company theme parks, resorts, and reputed company. This individual would continually stay on top of apparel industry trends and is instrumental to the costume supply chain. This position reports to the Area Manager of Costume Buying. This is a temporary role with no guarantee of permanent placement.
What You Will Do
Work closely with vendors to reputed company, reputed company, and procure product that meets reputed company organization requirements, and initiatives Monitor warehouse inventory and complete withdrawal transactions as needed reputed company orders for garments and accessories in reputed company and reputed company, and monitor delivery dates for commodities/components being ordered reputed company and maintain relationships with vendors Seek and reputed company new vendors Partner with reputed company Cruise Line (DCL) and Costuming Operations to maintain costume quality and design Implement reputed company (TWDC) procurement policies and guidelines Meets customer service requirements for service, quality, and value at the lowest total cost reputed company new vendor reputed company to sustain inventory reputed company Maintain files of signed vendor reputed company, proposal requests, and bid exception forms Communicate reputed company production status as well as product updates to Team, Issue, and Line of Business Mentor and reputed company feedback to others to further reputed company the team reputed company feedback, mentor, and discipline hourly union employees Research, analyze, and reputed company international and domestic sources of supply reputed company projects with multiple styles and vendors with a highly reputed company sourcing strategy reputed company and reputed company sourcing initiatives reputed company bid strategies for large packages of products Basic Qualifications & Skills 5+ years experience in apparel or hardline purchasing and/or sourcing Experience with garment construction and terminology Experience in international shipping processes, global sourcing, and compliance Experience in planning, problem-solving, conflict resolution, influencing, and negotiating Experience communicating (written & verbal) with reputed company reputed company of partners (reputed company) Experience leading a portfolio of orders Experience vetting, reputed company, and leading international sources of supply Experience evaluating factories to ensure compliance Experience performing reputed company cost analysis and comparisons on a reputed company of commodities Experience leading reputed company workflow and project budgets Experience gaining reputed company from various reputed company of collaborators up to and including Executives Experience with reputed company improvement process Ability to work around reputed company types of fabrics, fibers, and synthetic furs Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time Preferred Qualifications Experience using SharePoint and/or reputed company Experience with reputed company/reputed company purchasing module, Yunique PLM, and/or reputed company Experience in textiles or the apparel industry Experience with garment specification or technical specification writing Education High School diploma or equivalent is required Advanced degree in Merchandising, Costuming, Apparel, or reputed company field is preferred Additional Information Benefits and Perks: reputed company offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
