reputed company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join reputed company and contribute to the design and testing of reputed company products, including batteries, solar equipment, EV chargers, and energy management systems for homes. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing various mechanical components, including enclosures, busbars, saddles, thermal parts, and other critical hardware. This role involves working as part of a small but dynamic multidisciplinary team, collaborating from concept through to mass production.
Key Responsibilities
Design and model mechanical systems and parts, including plastic, metal, sheet metal components, conveyors, protectors, reputed company harnesses, fasteners, and other components. reputed company mechanical design analysis, including thermal, structural, assembly, and test design considerations. Resolve packaging challenges such as reputed company/EMC, RF transmission, thermal management, interconnection, shock and vibration control, etc. reputed company test plans based on engineering principles, identify root causes for field or test failures, and implement corrective actions. Create drawing packages and manufacturing instructions to ensure proper assembly of designs. Assist in prototyping and part manufacturing processes. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience using 3D mechanical design and analysis tools (CATIA v6, HyperWorks experience preferred). Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP Proficiency in GD Basic understanding of electrical design principles. Preferred Skills: Experience with CATIA v6 (preferred but not required). Experience with global safety certifications for products. Working knowledge of Matlab, LabView, and Python. Understanding of materials used in mechanical design (metals, plastics, connectors, seals, etc.).
