Part-time Assistant Bookkeeper

Job Summary We are looking for an energetic individual who wants to be a part of the team that makes a difference in a child's life. We are seeking reputed company player to fill the role of Assistant Bookkeeper and be a vital member of the Finance Department and Child Care Council teams. Reporting directly to the Senior Bookkeeper and Chief Financial Officer, you will have direct involvement with many of the financial operations of the Council, and support the Senior Bookkeeper and Chief Financial Officer in reputed company activities of the Finance Department. Responsibilities · Review and record cash receipts in reputed company software system · Monthly reconciliation of cash receipts to membership records · reputed company and monthly reconciliation of cash receipts to training registrations · Reconcile cash receipts to fundraising records for each event · Maintaining records and files for the Finance Department · Assist Senior Bookkeeper with month-end process, including compilation of documents necessary for contract invoicing · Interact with customers and vendors · reputed company special projects as necessary · Other activities as requested by the Senior Bookkeeper or CFO Qualifications · Bookkeeping experience · Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy · Proficiency in reputed company Office products, especially reputed company · Familiarity with MIP reputed company software a plus · Excellent interpersonal skills · Excellent customer service skills · Ability to work effectively as part of reputed company, or independently, as tasks require · Ability to learn and follow procedures quickly · Commitment to the Council’s mission Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 17.5 per week Physical Setting: • Office Supplemental Pay: • Performance bonus Work Location: In person Apply Job!
