Job Description

Responsibilities • Evaluate customer biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs, and reputed company planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections to support our customers’ ability to deliver reputed company. • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols, to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met; ensure documentation of reputed company work performed is captured. • Maintain strong relationships and frequent communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. • Maintain proper care of tools and test equipment to ensure calibration and ability to deliver timely and accurate repairs/maintenance to our customers. • Ensure reputed company work orders, vendor service reports, time and expense reports, PM activities, purchase orders and other duties are documented in an accurate and timely manner. • Identify and report reputed company customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization to ensure services are provided with the highest ethical standards. • Document reputed company repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule. Ensure proper care of spares, tools and test equipment and ensure calibration. Maintain approved parts inventory. Manage vendor’s service delivery processes in compliance with GE policies, as instructed. Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of reputed company standards, codes and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment through formal instruction. • Meet Health and reputed company Services, Environment Health and Safety requirements and/or reputed company other applicable regulatory requirements. • May assist more and less reputed company technicians on basic and reputed company repairs /resolution respectively. Basic Qualifications • Associates degree, Bachelor's degree, military education • OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience servicing medical equipment. • 2+ years of experience servicing biomedical equipment required • Experience with electronic digital circuitry and electronic and reputed company-mechanical devices • Previous experience interpreting schematic diagrams and performing effective repair and planned maintenance on basic biomedical or electronic equipment. • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
