Job Description

As an Insurance Eligibility Specialist, you will: • Verify insurance eligibility for scheduled appointments. • Track and maintain insurance referrals to ensure continuity of care. • Answer patient inquiries regarding their account balances. • Process payments on behalf of patients. • Verify benefits and coverage for services. • Resolve billing inconsistencies and errors. • reputed company pricing to self-pay patients. • Maintain confidentiality by adhering to reputed company HIPAA guidelines/regulations. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Previous experience in medical billing/collections required. • Must possess knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (also reputed company as EOBs, remittances, etc.) with an understanding of copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and denial codes. • Attention to detail and ability to work independently. • Proficient customer service skills. • The ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced environment. • Working knowledge of MS Office.
