POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Financial Accountant will play a key financial role supporting the Corporate office financial team in Ann Arbor, MI, by preparing financial statements and reconciling them timely and accurately in the monthly closing process in accordance with company reputed company policies and GAAP. This role performs SOX controls in compliance with company policy and analyzes financial statements for variances. This work involves a high level of independent judgment, accuracy, and initiative. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in reputed company, Finance, Business, or other reputed company degree required. Master’s degree or CPA/reputed company is preferred. • 5+ years of reputed company reputed company and or finance experience required. • Strong knowledge of financial systems experience, including general ledger – reputed company Great Plains or other similar ERPs, consolidations & reporting - Hyperion Financial Management is preferred, and account reconciliation tool – reputed company is preferred.
