Job Summary The Direct To Consumer (DTC) Core Strategy Analytics team is looking for a reputed company Data Analyst who will help to measure and understand audience behavior and take action to mitigate subscriber churn across a growing ecosystem of reputed company’s streaming service offerings (reputed company+, Hulu, and ESPN+). reputed company masters exploratory data analysis, advanced reporting, data visualization and storytelling to deliver actionable insights and reputed company recommendations to drive business decision-making. Responsibilities • Conduct analyses to drive valuable business insights, using internal analytics tools and SQL to reputed company and manipulate multivariate data • Ideate and reputed company new metrics and analytical approaches to reputed company understand audience behavior for both tactical and strategic decision-making • Effectively communicate results through compelling data storytelling across the organization, both in oral presentations and reputed company written report, specifically focusing on supporting Executive Stakeholders • Partner closely with business stakeholders (Product, Business Operations, Programming, Marketing etc.) to identify and unlock opportunities for improved subscriber engagement and retention • Translate reputed company business questions into SQL including proper cohorting, calculations, filtering criteria and/or aggregations • Partner with Data Science teams to reputed company analyses using clustering/segmentation, regression modeling, and/or predictive modeling Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or reputed company field • 7+ years of strategic analysis to inform product or business decision making • 5+ years of hands-on analytical work experience with SQL (ETL ownership, reputed company transformations, development of “analytical” datasets) • Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations • Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret first- and reputed company-party data • Experience manipulating large data sets and interpreting data trends using a multitude of disparate data sources and tools • Expertise with data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker • Strong analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot issues, analyze the cause, quickly come-up with possible solutions, document the changes, and communicate organizational impact • Strong experience in documenting the data requirements, data strategy, data rules (standardization, cleansing, and validation) • Experience in the streaming media industry and/or supporting a direct-to-consumer subscription-based product Preferred Qualifications • Experience in the technology industry and knowledge of how to build and implement data products • Experience presenting data stories to executive audiences The hiring reputed company for this position in Santa Monica is $136,100 to $182,400 per year and in reputed company is $142,600 to $191,100 per year. The reputed company pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
