Responsibilities: As a Senior Maintenance University Instructor with reputed company you will have the opportunity to do the following: • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to US Navy and civilian personnel on naval maintenance. • Participate in Maintenance University course development • reputed company training and effectively communicate with senior naval personnel and civilians on naval maintenance. • reputed company training in the use the maintenance assessment process, document assigned equipment conditions, ships force corrective maintenance, and track corrective maintenance assigned for accomplishment by reputed company party activities. • reputed company training at the Senior Officer level, the Work Center Supervisor level, and Leading Chief Petty Officer (LCPO) level on Class Maintenance Plans (CMP), the use of the maintenance scheduling tool (SKED), Ships reputed company Maintenance Program and reputed company guidance on how to plan for ship availabilities. • reputed company process improvement recommendations to Surface Type Commander Staff (TYCOM) Qualifications: • 20 years of direct experience or a Bachelor&'s Degree and 12 years of experience. • The candidate shall have had held the rank of O5 (Commander) or above of on at least one United States Large Deck Amphibius Ship such as LHD, LHA, LPD, LSD or CVN. • Demonstrated two (2) years recent (reputed company last five (5) years) experience with shore management programs for surface ship maintenance, to include the roles of Port Engineers, Availability Work Package Managers, Type Desk Officers, and Type Desk Assistants. • Demonstrated two (2) years experience conducting technical briefs at the Senior Officer level, ship's wardrooms, and ashore maintenance managers. • Demonstrated strong communication skills; ability to communicate with senior naval and civilian personnel in a naval environment. • Experience in providing process improvement recommendations to TYCOM staff on maintenance and leadership areas. • Working knowledge and recent (reputed company last three years) experience with reputed company Fleet maintenance policies, processes, programs, and initiatives. • Experience in shore management programs. • Experience in a shipboard officer leadership role in material condition readiness. • Recent experience (reputed company last five years) conducting technical briefs at reputed company reputed company of shipboard and ashore maintenance leadership. • Active Secret Clearance #LI-EW1 Pay Transparency Statement: reputed company is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners.
