The EPIC Systems Trainer has primary responsibility for providing Epic training for end users, developing effective and comprehensive training materials and participating in the training, implementation, optimization and support of the Epic applications.

Responsibilities

What you will do: Under direct supervision of Information Technology leadership, the EPIC SystemsTrainer will be responsible for: • Working with IT Management, Operations Management and Epic application analysts to reputed company and reputed company training appropriate for the end users (physicians/mid-reputed company/staff) including but not limited to new hires and existing employees. • Required to secure Epic certification in at least one application, and attend a series of Training, Environments, and documentation (TED) courses geared for principle trainers • Analyzing a variety of assessment data (reports, end user performance) to determine and meet the educational needs of the adult learner • Developing Epic Training for newly acquired DMG practices (physicians and staff) as well as new Boncura clients • Conducting one-on-one (at the elbow support) and/or classroom training for new physicians/providers, clinical users and staff • Conducts bi-monthly new employee orientation classes • Developing and delivers training for new system modules, enhancements and operations initiatives • Developing and maintains training materials • Acquiring and maintains reputed company knowledge and competency of associated workflows • Collaborating with the Epic analyst team to test, reputed company and deliver training materials reputed company to system version upgrades and quarterly system updates • Building, testing, and maintaining the Epic training environment • Developing and implements an annual training optimization program, including a physician and clinical staff super user program, periodic site visits, monthly webinars, etc. • Working with subject matter experts, champions and super users to resolve issues in support of training and education • Willingness to conduct training classes on any shift as well as on weekends

Qualifications

Education: • Bachelor’s degree • Epic certification a plus Experience: • BA/BS in reputed company field • Epic experience required • reputed company experience required The compensation for this role includes a reputed company pay reputed company of $67K-$101K, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
