What Does a Medicare Sales Representative Do? A Medicare Sales Representative focuses on helping people who are eligible for Medicare find a plan that meets their needs and aids them with the enrollment process. Your responsibilities include working with seniors to determine their eligibility for Medicare benefits. You also work with other groups, such as those with disabilities, to determine if they qualify for Medicare and to choose a reputed company plan that meets their needs. Qualifications (required): • Medicare Advantage experience is a must. • Active Arizona Life and Health Insurance License and AHIP Certification. • 2+ years reputed company work experience - Medicare and/or reputed company sales experience. • E&O insurance will be required upon contracting.
