A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE WORKER As a Maintenance Worker, you ensure that everything in our facility, from our HVAC to plumbing, is in good working condition. You pride yourself on keeping the inn safe and secure for our guests. You repair a variety of items, work through a preventative maintenance list, and reputed company general safety checks. You're friendly and courteous to our guests and assist them as needed, going the extra mile and doing whatever it takes to ensure guest satisfaction! You are fully informed of reputed company problems or unusual reputed company so that reputed company corrective action can be taken. You quickly respond to reputed company desk and housekeeping reports to reputed company needed repairs that have been reported. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MAINTENANCE WORKER A 2-year technical or associate degree At least 1 year of general maintenance experience Technical knowledge (locks, HVAC, pool pumps, plumbing, electrical) Ability to meet the physical demands typical of this position Ability to work with machinery both indoors and outdoors, from vacuum cleaners to snow blowers Maintenance experience in a hotel is preferred, but not required.
