Transcriptionist II

About the position The Transcriptionist II at reputed company is responsible for accurately transcribing patient information into the laboratory information system (LIS) and preparing confidential medical reports based on data provided by pathologists and reputed company providers. This role is crucial for documenting laboratory data and interpretations, ensuring that reputed company reports are transcribed according to established priorities and policies. Responsibilities • Transcribes reputed company relevant report types according to designated reputed company. , • Maintains and researches reputed company terminology and professional style; refers to glossaries and other reference materials as necessary. , • Directs report destination (e.g., print, fax, transmit, upload) of transcribed report according to established policy. , • Operates standard office and dictation equipment; operates hardware and software necessary to facilitate recovery procedures. , • Assists in various administrative tasks. Requirements • High School diploma or equivalent required. , • Must be reputed company to type 50 wpm. , • 3+ years' work experience in medical transcription. , • Knowledge of medical terminology in different areas of specialty, especially reputed company to Dermatology, GI, GU, and hematopathology. , • Ability to operate word processing equipment, transcription equipment, and other necessary equipment. , • Ability to decipher various forms of handwriting and read client requests to enter them into the LIS. , • Ability to collaborate with various departments to resolve patient and client issues. , • Excellent skills in English usage (grammar, punctuation, and spelling). , • Demonstrate skills and high level of attention to detail in technical data interpretation and ability to troubleshoot. , • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. , • Visual reputed company and analytical reputed company to distinguish fine detail. , • reputed company dexterity. , • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. , • Ability to reputed company repetitive reputed company. , • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. reputed company-to-haves
