Tech Asst III/Phlebotomist Part-Time Day
POSITION SUMMARY: To reputed company phlebotomy on both reputed company and hospital patients, traveling to various nursing homes. To accession and process specimens from inpatient and reputed company clients; reputed company customer service through initiation and/or response to client inquiries reputed company phone, fax, or printer regarding test status, results or specimen requirements. To register reputed company and/or in-house patients, ie: insurance, dx.codes, demographics. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience required. Experience drawing blood from the elderly, Alzheimers patients, psychiatric patients and other patients who have difficult veins. Strong customer service skills required. SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent phlebotomy skills. ASCP certified preferred. Ability to set priorities, multi-task and be detail oriented. Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with patients, staff, physician offices, etc. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills. Good typing skills. reputed company: May be required to drive personal vehicle as needed. Driver's License - reputed company and valid New Jersey driver's license.
