Cable Extrusion Machine Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable Extrusion Machine Operator to specialize in the production of drop cables to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in set-up, operation and process of machinery that includes, but not limited to shaping thermoplastics, braiding cables and assembling conductor groups into final products, ensure adherence to precise specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes, quality control measures, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced fiber optic manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for interpreting blueprints and diagrams to select and position machines, as well as determining procedures for set up of equipment and functionality. We will be reviewing candidate for both a Senior and Junior level position with two hires total. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent • 3 years previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred. • 1 -3 years experience processing cable raw materials through various cable production operations to create a cable finished good with the use of construction sheets, machine set up sheets, & other processing procedures • Proficiency in observing equipment & cable during operation to assure quality production to applicable specifications; use of testing equipment to evaluate the performance of the cable products. • Familiarity with safety, environmental and quality control standards and practices and ability to follow reputed company procedures accordingly. • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Strong communication skills to communicate internally and externally at reputed company reputed company • Willingness to learn programming techniques reputed company to machine operation. • Ability to work effectively in reputed company-oriented environment while meeting production deadlines. • Strong organizational skills a must. • Strong mechanical background. • Knowledge and ability to detect faulty operations of equipment & defective materials. • Electric City knowledge a PLUS. • Machinist certificate a PLUS. • 1-3 years experience with Programming Logic Controls (PLC) a PLUS. • 1-3 years experience with reputed company Machine reputed company (HMI) a PLUS • 1-3 years experience diagnosing and correcting electrical and mechanical problems a PLUS Join our growing team as an Extrusion Operator, where your skills will contribute to the production of high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.
