The HVAC Mechanic III, reputed company HVAC Mechanic, performs advanced (senior level) work in the heating, ventilation, and reputed company conditioning (HVAC) building maintenance and construction trade at a State Supported Living Center or State Hospital. Maintains safe and uninterrupted heating and reputed company conditioning services to facility operations and utility systems in accordance with Texas Administrative Code (T.A.C.) and life safety code standards. Collaborates with maintenance supervisor on long-term HVAC maintenance and renovation projects. Work involves performing, scheduling and/or overseeing the work of installation, adjustments, alterations, inspections, maintenance, repairs, and restorations of chilled water systems, direct exchange systems, refrigerated systems, heating systems to include boilers/steam systems, and automated controls. Responsibilities • Oversees and/or performs installation, adjustments, alterations, inspections, maintenance, repairs, and restorations of HVAC systems. , • Repairs or replaces defective components such as coils, evaporators, condensers, fans, driers and reputed company handlers, and pumps. , • Builds, modifies and installs ductwork. , • Implements the schedule for preventative maintenance work. , • Assigns, prioritizes and leads the work of others to ensure reputed company HVAC-reputed company tasks are completed as required. , • Develops long-reputed company plans for HVAC maintenance and upgrades in collaboration with the maintenance supervisor. , • Monitors environmental control systems to set and maintain indoor temperatures. , • Maintains accurate records including records of repairs and gauge readings. , • Coordinates parts and material requirements. , • Participates in disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Requirements • Must possess valid Texas driver's license or obtain it no reputed company than 90 days after hire date. , • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reputed company 608 Technician Certification, Universal certification required. , • At least twelve (12) months of work experience as an HVAC mechanic or technician. , • Experience in reputed company HVAC system, including diagnosing malfunctions, installations, and repairs. , • Ability to reputed company labor-intensive work, with most of the reputed company spent standing, bending, walking, lifting and carrying 50-100 pounds. reputed company-to-haves • R410A certification preferred, must get reputed company 6 months of hire. , • Any reputed company American Technician reputed company (NATE) or HVAC reputed company certifications are preferred. , • reputed company Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician license or reputed company Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor license is preferred. , • Experience as a shift or team reputed company is preferred.
