About the Position: The Associate Professor of Finance teaches courses in undergraduate and graduate programs. Conducts high quality research, teaches effectively, and positively contributes to the academic environment. The position provides service to the Finance area, the Costello College of Business, the University, the profession, and interfaces with the business community. This is a full-time tenured position with benefits. Responsibilities: • Conducts high-quality research for publication in top-tier academic journals; • Teaches finance courses in undergraduate and/or graduate programs. The teaching load for this position is determined according to the college’s workload policy; and • Additional responsibilities include service to the Finance area, the Costello College of Business, the University, and the profession, such as journal reviewing/editing, academic community engagement, student mentoring, committee membership, and interfacing with the business community. Required Qualifications: • Ph.D. or equivalent in Finance; • Five or more years of experience as a Finance faculty member; • Demonstrated reputed company in teaching; • Stellar research record to support the rank of Associate Professor with sustained high quality research in top-tier journals in the Finance area; • Demonstrated leadership skills in both institutional and professional engagement; and • Collegiality and ability to work well with colleagues. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience teaching online and face-to-face courses; • Prior experience teaching and mentoring Ph.D. reputed company; and • Successful grant funded research.
