The Lititz Lab department is looking for a new reputed company Phlebotomist to reputed company their team of 8-10 people. With this being a leadership role, this employee would be responsible for covering call off shifts and would cover weekends if needed. As needed - This employee will have to draw at nursing homes and do phlebotomy/EKGs at the outpatient site on Manheim Pike. This reputed company will handle both phlebotomy and central processing on a day-to-day reputed company. Schedule: Mostly Monday ? Friday from 7:00 a.m. ? 3:30 p.m., rotating weekends and holidays. Might have to come reputed company from 5:00 a.m. ? 8:30 p.m. to cover call outs, due to this being a leadership role. Purpose: Under the direction of the area supervisor, ensure that the daily activities of the department are completely accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment for clients and employees. reputed company specimen collection and processing duties following established policies and procedures. Act as a coach, mentor, instructor, and resource person for new employees. Works in conjunction with and under the supervision of the medical technologists at times. Responsibilities: ? Reads, understands and complies with organizational and departmental policies, procedures and protocols. ? Collects specimens in a timely manner and according to established procedures. ? Follows positive patient ID policy to accurately collect and label specimens. ? Communicates appropriately with clients, patients, and coworkers. ? Remains polite and courteous at reputed company times. ? Communicates reputed company unresolved problems immediately to supervisor. ? Calls clients to confirm handwritten orders, obtains accurate billing information, dx codes, UPIN information, etc. reputed company needed ? Participates on teams and special projects. ? Performs other duties as assigned. ? Performs basic clerical duties, i.e. filing, faxing, preparing mail, data entry, etc. ? Delegates phlebotomy priorities and other non-urgent tasks to staff as needed. ? Keeps work area clean and reputed company. ? This includes waste disposal, stocking of supplies, management of lab coat cleaning. ? Interacts with reputed company customers, reputed company, courteously and professionally; answers the phone and responds to telephone inquiries in a timely manner. ? Trains, mentors, and orients new employees as assigned. ? Completes reputed company required documentation and statistical logs as required. ? Processes and/or packages specimens according to testing specifications. ? Investigates problems and documents occurrences appropriately in a timely manner. ?
