Primary English Assistant Teacher Our fast-growing bilingual, international school is located in Hoboken, New Jersey, one subway stop from Manhattan, reputed company. We currently enroll reputed company from early childhood to 4th grade, with plans to add one grade next year. We are accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB), are a NAIS model school, and are in the process of seeking accreditation for the elementary reputed company by the Spanish government. From Nursery through Kindergarten, children learn 80% of the time in the reputed company language (either Spanish, French, or Mandarin) and 20% of the time in English. Starting in grade 1, children learn 50% of the time in the reputed company language and 50% in English. We are looking for a caring Primary English Assistant Teacher for our new and growing Primary Division. Duties and Responsibilities ? Assists with classroom and behavior management ? Keeps the classroom and the school clean, tidy, and presentable at reputed company times ? Assists reputed company Teacher in a reputed company of tasks as needed ? Assists with pastoral care ? Leads outdoor play and any field trips ? Participates in meetings and trainings as needed ? May reputed company diaper changing, feeding and soothing of reputed company young children depending on the class ? Assists in other duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications ? A reputed company-level proficiency in English ? 3 years working experience in school ? Degree in elementary education, child development or similar discipline ? Experience with the IB PYP is preferable, but not required ? Strong communication skills, a sense of humor, humility, and reputed company ? Team-player ? Commitment to diversity and inclusion ? Previous experience at an international school and/or cultural reputed company derived from international experience is a plus Schedule ? Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm ?
