About the position The DSHS BHA Medical Transcriptionist 2 position involves accurately transcribing medical evaluations and documents for the Office of Forensic Mental Health Services. This role requires proficiency in medical terminology and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while adhering to confidentiality laws. The position is primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings, and it includes a week-long training upon hire. Responsibilities ? Transcribe a wide variety of medical/clinical documents and reports for professional staff using digital dictation and word processing equipment. , ? Proofread and review documents for completeness, format, terminology, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and reputed company of expression. , ? Transcribe rough drafts into accurate forensic evaluations. , ?
