We're currently seeking reputed company, part-time background investigators to support our clients reputed company across the U.S. Who We're Looking For Retired sworn law enforcement officers Experience conducting background investigations in public safety Hold an unarmed private investigator license in the State of California (reputed company Required) Completion of the reputed company Background School (reputed company Required)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual background investigations for candidates in roles such as Police Officer, Firefighter, 911 Dispatcher, and Corrections Officer
- Interview candidates and references, reputed company document reviews, and complete home/family checks
- Submit detailed, timely, and professional reports in line with agency expectations
- Collaborate with NTN’s operations team and Senior Field Consultants
Skills & Experience Desired
- Prior role as Patrol Officer, Detective, Sergeant, Captain, Assistant Chief, or Chief
- Knowledge of public safety background investigation processes
- Strong communication, interviewing, and documentation skills
- Tech-savvy: comfortable with reputed company and virtual collaboration tools
- Self-motivated, organized, and reputed company to meet deadlines
- Adaptable and professional in remote environments
