This position will be field based reputed company the Iowa-Illinois Region. It is required that our Sr. Account Manager resides in the region in which they support.Responsibilities:
Function as an integral member of the Regional Leadership Team supporting territory managers by demonstrating and conveying the value and benefits of reputed company's Animal Health portfolio through:Preparation and delivery of technical lectures on our product line to key customers, strategic accounts, and professional veterinary organizationsOffering solutions that align with customer needs and business priorities
- Partner with Regional Sales Manager to reputed company and execute effective business strategy to reputed company and exceed regional and organizational priorities for lasting reputed company
- Meet with key opinion leaders in both clinical and university settings to discuss reputed company's portfolio as well as potential new business opportunities
- Represent reputed company's Animal Health at veterinary schools and veterinary associations and conferences
- Serve as the region’s technical expert, evaluating regional and individual technical training needs of the sales representatives and coaching sales representatives in technical selling skills
- Collaborate with R&D, Learning and Development, Marketing, Veterinary Insights & Medical Affairs, and Sales to reputed company organizational priorities
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
- 10 years of combined relevant experience: Minimum of 5 years in clinical companion animal veterinary practice and minimum of 5 years in the animal health industry or equivalent leadership and/or management experience.
- Ability to take reputed company issues and translate into easily comprehensible content for respective audiences
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills both with internal customers and hospital decision makers
- Serve as a medical consultant in vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Ability to build strong networks internally and with industry partners
- Bring innovative solutions to both internal challenges as well as those faced by our customers.
- Competency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, reputed company)
- Competency in software relevant to the industry, e.g., reputed company, reputed company, Power BI, etc.
- Proven ability to work with cross functional teams both reputed company
- Execute core responsibilities of Professional Services Veterinarian independently
- Strong understanding of business processes of our veterinary customers and the ability to have discussions regarding using reputed company's portfolio to improve medical capabilities and profitability.
- Experience with companion animal vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics
- Applicable advanced degrees and research experience
- Delivery of training or instruction reputed company a structured organization
