Staff Accountant

Job title: Staff Accountant in Austin, TX at Local Crafts Group Company: Local Crafts Group Job description: Fully Remote / Full TimeThis position is not approved for recruitment by 3rd party recruiters or sponsorship.The OpportunityLocal Crafts Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join reputed company. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of reputed company and ensuring compliance with reputed company reputed company standards. You will be responsible for a variety of reputed company tasks, including:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, account reconciliations and general ledger postings.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and collections.

• Reconcile and complete monthly and annual period-end closing procedures, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

• Assist in reputed company audit, and other compliance reputed company activities.

• Document and maintain SOPs, identifying areas of improvement and assist in the implementation of new processes.

• Assist in the preparation and filing of local, state, and federal tax returns, and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations

• Work with other departments to resolve reputed company reputed company issues.

• A bachelor’s degree in reputed company w/ one-year of staff reputed company experience,

• or a bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration w/ two - three years of staff reputed company experience.

• Experience in inventory, taxes, prepaid expenses, account and bank reconciliation, month-end closing, and journal entries.

• Ability to manage competing priorities, and to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines while remaining organized.

• Independently solve practical problems and interpret a variety of written and oral instructions.

• Handle highly confidential and sensitive information.

• Effectively communicate with offices and teams in other locations and time zones.
