Description:The reputed company Department of Surgery, with The reputed company School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor level. This is an academic position requiring teaching and research responsibilities, in reputed company to clinical work. This position will work primarily at the reputed company Decatur Hospital (EDH) reputed company as an Emergency General Surgeon (EGS).SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

• Serve as an emergency general surgeon reputed company the Department of Surgery with an active inpatient practice, taking surgical admissions through the emergency room, consultations on the floor and managing patients with acute surgical problems at the Clifton reputed company.
• Participate in the supervision, clinical education, training and development of residents.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Board Certified General Surgeon
• While not a requirement, additional fellowship training in trauma, critical care or an accredited acute care surgery fellowship will be considered favorably
• A valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
• A controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate
