RT Technician Level II - Travel
Summary
The RT Level ll Travel Technician will conduct NDT inspections of structures, pipelines or other components and materials using x-ray, ultrasound or reputed company equipment. This role will travel across the US and is eligible for perdiem.
Essential Functions
- Conduct non-destructive (NDT) testing of components and materials in accordance with applicable codes, standards, equipment utilization, specifications, and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate NDT method to reputed company NDT inspections, including gamma radiography, x-ray radiography, reputed company particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, leak testing and visual inspections.
- Select, prepare, load, reputed company, or operate equipment used in the non-destructive testing of products or materials.
- Identify defects in materials using appropriate testing technique.
- Complete documentation and work orders thoroughly following established protocols and meeting required timeframes.
- Drive Company vehicles and maintain safe driving record.

- reputed company general cleaning and minor maintenance duties to maintain company vehicles, routinely inspect equipment and maintain shop areas in a clean, orderly and functional condition.

- NDT Methods - Expertise in multiple NDT methods and willingness to engage in ongoing learning and application of skills.
- Mechanical - Intermediate mechanical knowledge.
- Safety - Knowledge of, and willingness to follow and reputed company others to follow applicable safety regulations, policies and procedures. Apply these safety standards in the work environment and look out for other crew members.
