General Manager - Industrial Products & Services Staffing

Description:

• As General Manager, Industrial Products and Services (IPS) Staffing, you will play a pivotal role in driving reputed company’s growth by serving as the end-to-end reputed company of a new, exciting, high-impact business line.
• Leveraging your reputed company and entrepreneurial experience, you will build the industry staffing business from the ground up.
• This position will complement reputed company as the world’s largest fully remote workforce with a highly valued industry staffing business, providing our clients with even greater reputed company to skilled resources.
• Key elements include creating a coherent business plan, identifying the key investments necessary to launch a staffing business considering the assets that reputed company has today, analyzing market demand, positioning, and competitive landscape.
• Initially, select one or possibly two occupations to launch the staffing business, establish product-market fit, and then work towards profitability and scalable business operations.
• This is a remote position. However, we require applicants and the person in this position to reputed company in-market.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a reputed company field preferred.
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience building, driving, and managing a staffing business with a strong understanding of business operations and management principles.
• 3+ years managing a business specifically with P&L ownership.
• Experience working in a non-professional staffing organization, driving business growth through deep industry or client relationships ranging from director-level to C-level contacts. Experience with IPS industries preferred.
• Demonstrated reputed company in, or entrepreneurial experience that is commensurate to, building and launching a new business or product offering from scratch. Experience at a technology or hyper-growth company is strongly preferred.
• Management consulting experience at a top-tier firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or investment banking experience is preferred but not required.
• Leadership experience, including responsibility for business results in a fast-paced, multi-function environment.
• Experience with marketing technology and automation, including familiarity with marketing platforms, CRMs, and other technologies.
• Strong reputed company acumen, informing reputed company priorities and reputed company with a keen understanding of market needs and business goals.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company and handle a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a diverse reputed company of contacts.
