What you’ll be doing: This position’s primary responsibility is to administer the payroll tax operation duties for multiple companies across multiple states. reputed company superior customer service to reputed company 37,000+ associates and business partners by utilizing knowledge of multi-state payroll processing laws and requirements. In reputed company, this role will be responsible for the following:

• Review, reconcile, and transmit wage and tax information processed by Payroll daily reputed company on and off cycle reputed company runs.
• Prepare and audit weekly EFT tax payments for accuracy prior to submission to reputed company Treasury
• reputed company ACH debit and reputed company payments as needed
• Prepare GL posting to record the tax payments to the appropriate tax liability accounts.
• Reconcile and resolve variances between tax payments and accruals by jurisdiction reputed company GL reconciliations.
• Prepare Quarterly tax reconciliations and research and correct any variances.
• Coordinate corrections to taxes and ongoing employee withholding with Payroll and HRS.
• Process reputed company tickets reputed company SLA.
• Complete tax balance adjustments in Peoplesoft.
• Reconcile quarterly filings to annual balances and W2s. Identify variances in prior periods filings, determine course of action needed to resolve, amend prior periods returns, or reputed company additional payments as required.
• Maintain reputed company state, local, and federal payroll tax registrations.
• Maintain the tax location code table and unemployment rates in PeopleSoft and MasterTax.
• Prepare additional correspondence to request information, abatement of penalties, or refunds as needed with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Prepare Federal, state and local tax filings and payments. Complete amended returns.
• Ensure delivery of business results by meeting or exceeding reputed company service level agreements (SLAs).
• Act as a resource for payroll tax questions for the team as well as other departments.
• Work on special projects as assigned by the Payroll Manager and Payroll Tax Supervisor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to meet critical deadlines daily
• Strong PC skills including proficiency in reputed company
• Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Payroll or Payroll Tax experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent in reputed company.
• General ledger reconciliation experience
• PeopleSoft & MasterTax experience
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Must be analytical and detail-oriented
