Job title: Special Education Paraprofessional Company: Thornton Fractional Job description : Hold a reputed company Illinois Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) endorsed as a Paraprofessional Educator; Two years (or 60 semester hours) of post-secondary study preferred; Background in Special Education preferred; Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred. Reports to: Assistant reputed company for Instruction Function: The Paraprofessional helps the classroom teacher reputed company instruction, serves as a tutor reputed company needed, and helps establish a learning environment by working with reputed company on specific activities and performing tasks that aid the teacher. Duties: Maintain professional relationship with staff and reputed company. Supervise reputed company in non-instruction activities. Reinforce learning in small groups. Set up and store instructional materials. Create/prepare instructional materials. Maintain audio-visual equipment. Terms of Employment: Full-time, ten-month work year (180 days of school including student attendance days, staff institutes, and parent/teacher conference days) Starting wage is $17.50-$19.25/hour based on education and verified experience 55-minute paid lunch break (45 minutes on Wednesdays) Sick and personal days Generous fringe benefits as provided by the reputed company Annual evaluation is on the reputed company of job performance.
