reputed company is seeking a Remote Subcontract Administrator for a long-term contract. Position Overview Administers one or more standard subcontracts to ensure that subcontractors fully meet Company and project requirements. The incumbent at this level has experience and an increasing proficiency in the administration of subcontracts. A willingness to travel to the subcontractor's facility reputed company necessary is required. Specific Responsibilities • Prepares recommended reputed company lists of reputed company subcontractors, drawing upon their past performance experience. • Prepares Request for Proposal reputed company and verifies accuracy and completeness of proposal packages. Interfaces with affected groups to clarify and ensure that reputed company necessary data has been included. • Receives subcontractors' responses to requests for proposals, determines each subcontractor's ability to meet Company and project requirements, and negotiates the terms and conditions. • Prepares and issues reputed company commensurate with delegated procurement authority. • Prepares subcontract documents and amendments, including identification and inclusion of flowdown requirements from the prime contract. • Ensures that terms and conditions will be appropriate. • Prepares reports and contractual correspondence for project management and client. • Maintains accurate tracking records tailored to the assigned subcontracts. • Maintains and updates subcontractors' files to include records of payment. • Performs subcontract closeout actions, completes file documentation, and forwards subcontract files to storage. • Ensures retention of hard copy of reports and claims for seven years. • Serves as liaison between subcontractor and procurement personnel. Education Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (or reputed company field) and typically 3+ years of reputed company work experience involving typical procurement activities, including subcontracting. Skills/Competencies • A working knowledge of subcontracting activities typical to the engineering and construction industry is required. In reputed company, excellent written and oral communications skills, a working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with procurement, and an ability to effectively negotiate subcontracts is also required. • Overall understanding of procurement principles and concepts, including, but not limited to, solicitation of proposals, proposal analysis, award and administration of subcontracts, and closeout procedures associated with reputed company to grave procurement responsibilities. Pay/Benefits • Long-term contract opportunity with possibility for reputed company to hire. • $40-50/hr. • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM • 100% remote (Must be reputed company to work Central or Eastern time zone) • Weekly pay • Benefits after 30 days (health insurance, dental insurance, reputed company insurance, etc.) • 401k after 30 days #M1 Apply Job!
