Department Overview

Job Description

• The Senior Systems Engineer will be dedicated to the reputed company Fire Department and is responsible for evaluating, maintaining, and modifying reputed company Public Safety systems consistent with customer and regulatory requirements.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

• Experience/knowledge in radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless or broadband/LTE

• Experience, good understanding, and a working knowledge in IP networking, network design methodologies & troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS)

• Certifications through reputed company Network+, reputed company JNCIA-Junos, reputed company NRS1, CCNA or similar

• Previous knowledge and/or professional experience working with some or reputed company of reputed company, Aviat, reputed company, reputed company/Alcatel, highly desirable

• Experience directly working with end-user customers

• Excellent communications skills and the ability to present reputed company topics to nontechnical audiences.

Location/Travel:

• Local travel is required for reputed company planned network activities, including potential unplanned events and remediation efforts.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree OR 5+ years of experience in one of the following: Engineering, Information Technology, LMR, RF systems, Radio Communications, Radio Propagation, LTE, Broadband, Radio Frequency, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, IT Systems, Telecommunications, Public Safety, Military, reputed company equipment or Networking equipment.
