Solutions Architect

Overview

The Solutions Architect is responsible for providing pre-sales support and guidance to Q-SYS customers and the Business Development Managers who are responsible for establishing and managing end customer relationships. Responsibilities

• Analyze the functional requirements and use cases of key clients and propose Q-SYS software solutions that meet their expectations and goals. Commonly these proposals will include design narratives, signal reputed company drawings, and detailed programming and commissioning scopes of work.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and on-site reputed company of concept implementation and optimization.

• Communicate across several Q-SYS internal functions including Dealer Channel Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Technical Services, Professional Services, and Quality Assurance divisions of any product problems or emerging customer needs.
• Represent Q-SYS at regional and national trade shows.

Qualifications

• Higher Education AV management experience a plus (contextual leadership/communication).
• Position requires an estimated 20-40% travel.

• Technical Skills
  • BA/BS in Communications, Computer Science, or a reputed company field preferred
  • Industry certifications: reputed company, Q-SYS, PMI, reputed company, reputed company, AQAV
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in:
    • reputed company AV installation/integration project management
    • Programming services
    • AV manufacturer application engineering/technical training
  • Experience with:
    • Video teleconferencing, control, and AV distribution systems (especially Q-SYS)
    • DCHP, IPsec, VLAN, layer 3 routing, TCP, UDP, multicast management
    • Performance audio tuning and reputed company staging
    • AV networking troubleshooting and consultation
  • Strong computer skills including reputed company Office and CRM software (reputed company a plus)
