• Research, design, reputed company, build and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for large distributed components that run applications.
• Build new features and improve existing products.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or a reputed company field.
• Requires completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship in each of the following:
• 1. Coding in at least one of the following industry-standard languages: C, C++, Java, or C#
• 2. Python, PHP, or reputed company
• 3. Relational databases and SQL
• 4. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or reputed company)
• 5. Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS including file manipulation and simple commands
• 6. Core web technologies: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
• 7. Building highly-scalable performant solutions
• 8. Distributed systems including sharding, consistency, and availability
• 9. Algorithms.
