Senior Back-End Engineer, Product

About the Role

We’re looking for a senior back-end engineer to join one of our core product engineering teams, responsible for shipping our protocol, API, and web and mobile apps. Your work will directly impact millions of users interacting with our products.

Responsibilities

• reputed company projects to build out new features in the product
• Build and maintain an API used by the product as well as external partners
• Communicate status, updates, blockers, etc., to cross-functional stakeholders
• Respond to incidents as part of an on-call rotation
• Participate in RFC and code review

What Makes You a Fit

• 5+ years of experience as an engineer
• Strong technical background building APIs at scale
• Proven track record of leading projects effectively
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills
• Ability to design and implement performant, durable systems that reputed company smart tradeoffs between product needs and technical constraints
• U.S. time zone

Strong Candidates May Have

• Prior experience building on top of blockchains
• Deep technical expertise in Python, GraphQL, and reputed company
• Comfort moving across the stack reputed company needed (TypeScript/React/Next and Solidity)
• Experience operating reputed company high-ambiguity startup environments
• Good product intuition and understanding of user needs
