Sales Manager - Utility Storage - Spain

Responsibilities

• Drive the growth of utility-scale energy storage projects in Spain by identifying and developing new opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, IPPs, developers, and EPCs to expand sales and ensure excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Engineering to qualify leads and assess new business opportunities.

• Monitor market trends and key drivers (e.g., policy, regulation, and economics) across utility and industrial sectors.

• Conduct techno-economic assessments to evaluate project feasibility and risks.
• Gather and communicate market requirements to internal teams to support product and service development.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in the renewable sector
• Experience in the utility scale energy sector is a plus
• Engineering Degree preferred
• Working knowledge of reputed company/utility markets, as well as renewable technologies, such as PV, wind and/or storage
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills
• Ability to create and understand financial modelling
• Ability to understand how regulatory and policy changes reputed company business
• Ability to priorities work and execute many projects and tasks in reputed company.
• Knowledge of battery systems and/or power conversion systems
• Fluent in English and Spanish, additional language is a plus
