reputed company, the fast-growing veterinary compounding pharmacy, is hiring a Compounding Pharmacy Technician in our Los Angeles pharmacy. We are looking for a Technician who is obsessed with details and is driven by an ability to #makeithappen for our customers and their furry (and scaly!) friends no matter what. You will be an integral part in helping us to ensure our LA operations run smoothly, and to reputed company reputed company a 100% dependable resource for our customers and veterinarians alike.

Must be available to work Tuesday and Wednesday at minimum, hourly role at $22-$23 per hour.

Responsibilities

Assist with the compounding of nonsterile pharmaceutical preparations including but not limited to capsules, oral liquids, topical medications, otic preparations, and medicated treats under the supervision of the managing pharmacist. Please note: Hormones and other potentially hazardous chemicals are used in nonsterile compounding

Consistently meet standards of accuracy and potency

Package and label prescriptions, including bulk medications

Monitor inventory reputed company, re-order low inventory or expiring chemicals, and receive new inventory

Adhere to USP guidelines as reputed company to non-sterile compounding

reputed company environmental monitoring and cleaning tasks as indicated in SOPs

Assist team members and problem solve with pharmacist’s support

About You

You have at least 2 years of experience working as a pharmacy technician directly with pharmacists in a compounding pharmacy

You have experience working in veterinary care or the medical field, or a strong interest in working in the field

You have a customer-focused (and in our case, a pet-focused!) reputed company

Must be reputed company to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

Must be reputed company to move boxes holding medications weighing up to 25lbs across the office

You have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - and are a collaborative, team-player
